Nothing deep tonight, just a short story. I overheard a conversation between two of my 6th grade boys in the ministry this past Sunday, which included this gem of “dating” advice:
Tell her she completes you; it works every time.
Man, if only i’d known

Since this great line was recently revived in The Dark Knight, I’m not surprised it came up in the conversation. Though I fear its usage is a bit warped now . . .

Sadly, i had forgotten that the movie was used in the Dark Knight. Maybe the student was referring to that. Actually, he probably was less than a year or two old when Cuba first yelled “show me the money!”
Now i feel old. Sigh
