Do Hymns Really Possess Greater Depth?

Apparently, Ben doesn’t think so.  As someone who helps train youth in how to lead worship, i found his posts informative.  I actually give hymns more credit than most; I try to incorporate hymns into some of our worship times (but never the stupid ones!), refashioned by our youth.  This is another fine example for why you should examine the facts when someone makes a claim, like “the old hymns are smarter and more theologically astute than this contemporary racket.”

A Good Theological Dictionary

Anybody know of one?  I need to get a more indepth one, as my pocket-sized one is not enough anymore.
